Can I ask a few questions of u knowledgeable lot?
My Dell Inspirion m5030 has just died & think it is motherboard, I've only had it 1 & half years, is it worth fixing, just flog it on fleabag?
IF its gone was thinking of tablet maybe Samsung, it's just for browsing net, on here, selling few things on eBay etc, but my 12yr DS think Tab too complicated . Any advice appreciated.

    Try and repair it first.

Usually starting it up and bashing F8 repeatedly, quickly does it but it can be various Fs.

    Google your model. F7. F8. F9. F10?

Then you can basically do a factory restore.

If it is only 18 months old then it is worth arguing about the Sale of Goods Act, no way was that of satisfactory quality etc. Where did you buy it?

Hi, Ihaven't used Mr T for Pricer Promise yet, could somebody confirm you need to buy 10 different items - Is it like Mr A whereby some items might come back N/A so you should always buy more.

Don't see anybody posting Fillers to make up the 10 items for Mr T

Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick don't think I have lol

Hi - at the moment Mr T has an offer on kids sweets 10 or 11p each - buy 11 for £1. - I bought those and a carrott and a lime that I needed - and the nouvelle toilet rolls that were comparing with Mr S:T £10 price promise and a helping hand coupon:j
PS - someone posted yesterday that the big bags of toffee flavoured butterkist toffee popcorn were scanning at 35p in Mr a - I can vouch for this as I got a few bags today (the sel says 2 bags for £3!!!):rotfl:

:( I was hoping to have a lovely glitch to share with you all, but I've just checked my results and it's coming up N/A.

Mr A Butcher's Selection rump steak is £4 a pack, 2 for £7 and showing on msm as the same price in Mr T. However, I'd noticed this afternoon on msm that when you put some in your basket it was showing 2 packs as being £7 at A and £4 at T, and 4 packs being £14 at A and £7 at T. There seemed to be a bogof working on the T price as well as the multibuy. The same applied to the Butcher's Selection sirloin and frying steaks.

Sadly it's showing as N/A on the APG, but this is yet more evidence that A's claim to just use msm as their data source for the APG can't be right - it's more complicated than that. I'm guessing it's a weight discrepancy in this case, but I'm increasingly finding that msm compare the most random products, and then they don't compare. It's vital to check on the supermarkets' own websites where possible, but the claim to use msm as the source data is just nonsense. If only we could work out what happens in practice.......
    Hope is not a strategy.

Contact where you bought from , it should last longer than that. Ask to put a claim in under the sale of goods act.

You're getting mixed up with qualifying and comparable. You need 10 qualifying items. If something is n/a it's because there's not a comparable item in the other store. So even though it doesn't compare, it still qualifies as one of your 10 items. HTH

    thanks fair

depending on what part of the country you are in you might have a local repair centre/computer shop....... the one near me is no fix no fee...... he had mine for half day told me he couldnt fix it so no fee and gave it back
