Coupon_Kathy wrote: »Morning Everyone. For anyone one who likes a glass of Prosecco or Cava (or two) Mr T does a lovely bottle of Creme de Cassis - add a drop to a glass of Sparkling wine - lovely. It's priced at £6.99 a bottle - a nice treat if you are a bit short to generate a helping hand coupon! I had a few glasses at my friends last night - hence the reason I am running slightly late this morning! Hope everyone is ok - and thanks for all he fantastic posts! I will get round at some point in the next few weeks to organise a Teesside MSE meet up xxxx
A poor mans Kir Royale if I remember correctly. DW likes that so bought a bottle of the Cassis amongst the 25%off wines. Classed as a fortified wine so is included:)
Count me in for a Teesside MSE meet pleaseAwaiting a new sig0 -

Looks immense.
I have and yes, it was AMAZING and I'd normally say that that sort of thing 'isn't my thing'. :T
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

That reminds me while catching up. The cheap handwash is back in at my T. Only noticed it because a manager was getting the staff to move it from an aisle end display to the central aisle as nobody was buying it.Awaiting a new sig0 -
Good afternoon.:D
A bit of help needed if possible.:)
I am looking to switch my broadband and phone provider. Plusnet have a very good deal on at the moment.
Does anyone on here use plusnet or have any views about them?
All replies will be greatly appreciated.
I moved to Plusnet last year from BT. Went though Quidco which tracked quickly and was paid promptly. There was also an offer of some cashback I think, I seem to remember receiving a checque fairly quickly from Plusnet when the takeover was complete.
I have had a couple of issues with the service dropping out which were resolved quickly.
What I like about Plusnet is that you actually get to speak to someone human. BT used to get my blood boiling so much with Press 1, press 6, press 847, press 92..... by the time I spoke to someone, IF I got to speak to someone, because I was so frustrated, they'd get a bollicking. I would never ever go back to BT, because for a communications company, getting through their answering service is the most stressful thing I've ever done. I'll hold my hands up, I'm not noted for my patience but BT would try the patience of a saint!
Overall, I've been happy with Plusnet, good speeds, good service and friendly, helpful and seemingly knowledgable staff. Reasonable prices too.
If I were to criticise one thing, it would be the router they send you, it's a bit naff but I've hid mine behind a plant so it's not the end of the world.
I'm a happy bunny with them.Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0 -
Cooked Finest MD Lemon Herb Chickens for supper last night but they didn't taste quite right. I suspected that the chicken was going off (dated 28th) so we didn't eat them. Took them back this morning, was happy to exchange but CS gave me a £5.50 refund.
Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x
