If Phil really is WUM, he must be laughing his socks off at the way he cannot always wind some up.
You could always ignore him.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

I don't know if you are or aren't - I'm just saying that some do get wound up, and I wonder why they bother to get into it with you.
I don't hate anyone from a net site - it's all fantasyland, in that no one actually knows anyone else anyway..

Many of these "newer" subjects that Uni's are adopting seem to serve very little purpose for life in the real world of employment (I think).
Or they might actually be more relevant in the modern world, considering they've been created as a reaction to changing technologies? I think generally speak, most of the art subjects aren't the sort of thing that is specifically relevant to any one type of career, they're more general than that. I think that applies as much to older subjects such as fine art and English lit, as it does newer stuff like graphic design and film studies.0 -
I will tell you what gets me worked up and it is not personal against anyone. It is this idea that by getting a PhD you are no longer normal and so you should get free upgrades and favours just because you sound upper class. That is a point of social values and not personal against anyone.:beer:0

Get used to it. You're only going to get a Third when you graduate and you will never have the emotional or intellectual capacity to even begin competing with those who have gained their doctorates.
I don't know why I'm even bothering to reply - the 'joke' is wearing a bit thin now "student" phil.0 -
