For a recent birthday my mother in law purchased a £50 voucher as a present from this company and paid £2.50 delivery charge.
I chose for myself a stall seat for a production to the value £45 and when I went to make the online purchase was going to be charged a further £12.00!!
Today I visited the theatre to see if they would accept the voucher, unfortunately they couldn't. I have know contacted the above named company and await their response...
A sample of the above named company's T&C's

Theatre Tickets Direct sell tickets on behalf of ticket suppliers. All our suppliers are members of STAR (self-regulatory body operating within guidelines supported by, amongst others, the Office of Fair Trading, the British Tourist Authority, the London Tourist Board, Westminster Council and the Society of London Theatre). Policies set forth by them prohibit us from issuing exchanges or refunds after a purchase has been made or for lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets.
What about consumer rights?
