Dead Flowering Currant or Not

I have currants which are now showing some leaves, so yours might be alive but a bit late. Is there any green wood?Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

Very few of my bushes are showing any leaf yet. If you hacked it back, it needs extra time to develop buds before it can start bursting into leaf. add to that a very dry spring and it will take a while. Unless the soil is WET, throw a couple of buckets of water over it.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
