Hi guys,
On Monday I was alerted to a discount code for HP that my colleague received and circulated. The discount was £40 worth of product for £5.
Jumping on the opportunity, I ordered something to the value of £45, which cost £5. I checked out successfully and rubbed my hands together feeling very proud of myself.
As a copuple days passed and more and more people were seeing their deliveries arrive. However, mine never came and instead, today, I received the following mail:
Do I have any case here? Or accept it?
Cheers.

They're well within their rights to cancel as per the terms and conditions stated in the confirmation emails. Some you win, some you lose unfortunately. Just watch out for the next glitch and try again.0

I got the same thing, I've emailed them asking them to specify why a 'technical error' would stop them from fulfilling my order.
If it's because I used the code I'd prefer them just to say so!Anchor yourself to the foundations of everything you love.

I did the same thing but got an email saying it would be despatched.
I actually received a text saying it would be delivered via DPD on Monday.

What is not to be happy about? Do you seriously think companies like to give away £40 of free products due to an error if they can cancel them? The technical error is the voucher was accepted when it shouldn't have been.
You win some, you lose some, no need to get stressed about it. They can cancel whatever they want before dispatch.
