DRO and student account dilemma.

Okay so I was in a bit of debt and qualified for a DRO. I'm a full time university student and opened a Student Account with Natwest back in last September. My DRO was sent off around two months ago and a friend who is in the same position as me had received a letter stating they have changed her student account in a current account which was fine for her as she didn't have an overdraft with them. At present I haven't received a letter but guessing I'll be getting one.
However in my case I have a £1000 overdraft with Natwest and now concerned what might happen in my case? Can they give me a period of time to pay it back? As my next student loan isn't due until August.
My account is still at present a student account.

Any advice is appreciated!
