I have sold something privately and have been told by the buyer that they can only accept delivery on a certain date only..
This is fine, but are there any courier/delivery companies that can do this? I could send overnight i suppose, but even if i sent 2/3 days earlier can i find somewhere that delivers on a specific date with plenty of notice?

Most services offer 24 hour delivery, so you need to send it the day before.
Hopefully your buyer communicated their request before purchasing the item, rather than landing this on you after they'd ordered.0

No it wasnt through eBay so its ok, and im just looking into this possibility now..
Even a specified 48hr guaranteed of 72 hr guaranteed is fine as i can send it a bit before and it maybe cheaper my end 0 0

Unfortunately the 48hr services sometimes deliver in 24hrs, or sometimes on the third day if the address is remote. But if they try to deliver early, then at least you can book redelivery on the correct day. It's only really if they miss it that it becomes an issue. So go early. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
