PTS - not ATOL or ABTA. Help please.

I'm looking at a bespoke holiday (major wedding anniversary trip) but the travel company is not ATOL or ABTA and has only been registered for 12 months at Companies House i.e. unknown quantity. They are a member of PTS (Protected Travel Service)...an Independent that apparently offers the financial guarantees. I never heard of them so am very wary about booking this holiday.

Has anyone any experience/knowledge about PTS please??

Personally, I'd steer clear and use someone reputable and with the right protection credentials.
We've used Trailfinders several times and would recommend them (www.trailfinders.com). Great service and we've always found their prices competitive.

Do it yourself. That's about as 'Bespoke' as you can get. Together with your travel insurance and section 75 protection, you should be ok.
