Shares gone!

Hi,
I had a few shares (88) which were just sitting in my Halifax share account.
I had an email from Halifax to say a corporate action was occuring and I should check my "Important messages" on my account.
Well I did and there was nothing indicated to say I needed to do anything so I left the shares running.
Now I check my account and- yes the shares are gone!
So I am guessing they have been ?? by virtue of the corporate action which I knew nothing about.:(
I have emailed Halifax for explaination but it lookes like my loss?
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Stuart.

What were the shares?Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.0

They were for "Progressive Digital Media".
Looks like they revalued them?

They did a share consolidation, 1 new share for 1000 old shares. For fraction holdings of less than 1000 shares you receive cash in lieu of those shares.
It's in their AGM notice here http://www.progressivedigitalmedia.com/docs/2013NoticeofAGMReportandAccounts.pdfFaith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.0 -
IronWolf Thanks for that- - hm wonder when Halifax will process that - - if ever.
1000 old shares and my 88 wont be much.
Thanks again for your speedy reply.

Just a heads up on the curious "missing information" and my reply from Halifax. They replied with what the corporate action was (as IronWolf stated), even after I told them the information was not there! So I went back to the site and magicaly its there:eek:
I also received a letter from Halifax this afternoon saying I had not accessed the information (that wasnt there;)) and advised me of my email etc and checking spam etc in case I had not had their email about looking in my IMPOTANT INFORMATION folder. Well, the thing is I screen printed the site this morning showing clear ABSENCE of any information :cool:and Ive notified Halifax of this and await their comments.I know I should have gone to the PRO company website to dig deeper but its a bit much if Halifax turn round and say its my fault for not reading advice on their website which wasnt there.I await their reply.
