    Boring indeed - rather like their clothing ranges. Rarely anyone under 55 in our branch. Younger customers won't be seen dead there - so glad I shifted my M&S shares some time ago. They seem to want to be the Thorntons/DFS of the 'fashion' world! :)

    I've seen a few nice tops in there. Some good shoes and I wouldn't buy my knickers and bras from anywhere else! I would miss them if they went under.

    yes it's a shame as half the tops are far to low and the skirts too short for the clientèle they have yet they persist in trying to appeal to the woman in their twenties, which just puts off their old customer base. They did a customer survey and the consensus was that woman wanted higher cut tops, longer sleeves to hide arms, longer skirts and more crossover tops to hide tummies. And the new collections are very poor, they're still not listening to their customers!!

    My fave per una collection seems to be aimed at the over 60's awful baggy tops and lurid prints - I couldn't see hardly anything I liked except the jeans £29.50 and they fit me perfectly!! Why can't they get more right like this?
