Hi chaps,
Needed some advice on the following please...
Purchased some house products (several of) from an online seller which arrived fine, paid using my visa credit card. Unfortunately the wife had a change of heart so we returned them after a couple of days, again paying for the delivery using visa credit card.
Now apparently the seller is claiming a couple of the items were faulty on return (although they were returned in the same packaging\box if not more, but thats not the discussion here) and has deducted just over £90 from my refund. My question is would I be able to claim any of this back from visa, or is that not possible?
Any advice appreciated
Tiff

You could issue a chargeback however it would be your claim against theres0

I think it very unlikely that you will succeed, I suspect the seller sees this as a re stocking fee - very difficult for either party to prove without photos.0

No cover for change of mind.
Now if the item's was faulty/not as described when recieved. That is another matter.Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
You have 7 days to change your mind after goods are received under the distance selling regulations.0

If you are going to reply to anyone other then the OP. You need to quote the post to help people understand what you are on about....
Title of thread...Advice needed please - can i claim on credit card?
DSR, has no impact of chargebacks.
So while what you say is legally true. To his CC it means nothing.
Also I think the OP. Needs to add some more info.
Such as in what way did the retailer claim the goods were faulty. If they had been sent back unused?Never ASSUME anything its makes a>>> A55 of U & ME <<<0 -
Thank you for the information, I have requested pictures of the damaged goods but seller hasnt\isnt replying, they were unused but the seller said 2 of the 6 items were returned faulty so apparently damaged in transit by the courier. I'm beginning to believe there isn't really a case to!answer I guess0
