  • Hello

Its almost 3 months on for me now so 1/4 of yhe way there. Doing ok but still procrastinating too must. Have just realised due to a drop in income we maybe entitled to hb so claim going in for them. I have some savings for the nin monthly spends but its dwindling so that has been worrying me.

Aim this weekend is to get some jobs done and not waste the time.

Hope everyone getting along ok x

I'm glad you are doing ok and have a little help with your rent and council tax, anything for a little breathing room on essential bills!

I'm just over 3 months in, it seems to have flown by in some ways but when I think the kids will have nearly finished another school year before I am discharged  it seems ages away.

    Onwards and upwards!

  • 3/4 of the way there so on the home straight. Im only on a NT IPA and my income and outgoings haven't really changed. Does anyone know if the OR will ask for a new breakdown before AD?

Hope everyone else is ok x

  • Hi my trustee did not ask for another income/outgoings...some do at 6 months some later.
Like you I had no ipa and in April when tax allowances went up I was £20 a month better off...but my electric was costing more so I uped my d.d by £20 and sent them the letter confirming this...never heard a thing.
remember we have the same tax change this May...so look at your outgoings to be on the safe side.
Its a massive relief when your discharge comes, so look forward to that!
Good luck and take care xx
  • Thanks im due a 1% payrise in april but like you the elec and gas dd has gone up a bit to cancel out. Ive had my new tax coding through. They are claiming a smallish overpayment through it. Didn't think they could do this but its minimal so not too bothered. Count down continues !

    Hi All

I can’t believe it’s nearly a year since BR. I was initiallytold by the OR that I would get an IPA but I have heard nothing. I also receiveda small pay rise but this is hardly noticeable since I have had to have gas andelectricity metres fitted (a requirement by my utilities company since goingbankrupt).

Question: Do I need to contact the OR re the IPA or sit backand wait. I am counting down the weeks and will celebrate once it’s over.

I have friends who have been recommending I get a creditcard to rebuild my credit after discharge but I am not the slightest bitinterested as anything I want in future will be saved for. Does anyone elsefeel this way or is it just me?? I also have no interest right now of evenseeing my credit file and because of this friends think I’m crazy. I just likethe feeling of spending what I’ve earned and not anyone else’s. Even though Istill can’t really afford to buy much, go on holiday or have much entertainmentthe feeling of peace is a thing that carries no price. Good luck to all and let’skeep each other updated x
