All done and dusted now. I was so nervous going to court because when I rang up for an appointment the receptionist was so snotty and condecending on the phone. I was worrying for nothing. Everyone was so lovely, the Judge was brilliant even though I was a crying mess. She gave me some great advice and genuinely wished me luck in the future. I walked out of the court and for the first time in a very long time I was able to hold my head up high and smile. No weight or pressure holding me down.
Just need to wait for the call from the OR, hoping they don't want too much paperwork from me as most of it got shredded a long time ago.
Thanks everyone for your support a best wishes through this, onwards and upwards now!:T Looking forward to the future :T0 -

Hello
I had a bit of a downer trying to get all the info together but signed and sent off what I could. Still on track with the spending diary but still need to memorise what will be June's and the ongoing monthly budgets. The posts in here from those nearer the end of their journeys has certainly helped me believe lve done the right thing.:j0 -
Morning.
Still on a high from yesterday but no doubt will come crashing back down to earth when I'm back to work next week. Plans for this week include finally decorating the hall with the paint I've had for the last 4 years, start to declutter, go on a diet and give up smoking completely - having the odd one does hurt, its not big or clever.:T Looking forward to the future :T0 -
Good luck with the decorating RQ I think a few of us have started decluttering other areas of our lives after BR.:j0

My decluttering journey is still ploughing ahead Since BR I've emptied cleared donated and aiming to sell what I'm not going to be using or wanted.
I feel excited about coming home to clear space , rediscovering my old downstairs loo. Sitting in my garden on Sunday relaxing
Having family round knowing that I'm not going to have any difficult phone calls ..
It is a struggle to get to grips with it all by no means am I there yet , however, I've realised that what is around me is what & all I need

Congratulations from me as well, RQ, I'm so pleased it went well and that the judge was lovely, that must make a huge difference.
Here's to a new start for you :beer:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hello :hello:
Just wondering how everyone is getting on?
Im still keeping the spending diary going but not really looked at the various budgets. Still trying to tidy the house but slow going which im fine with.
Signed and sent some forms to ghe OR and the creditors are now chasing but only letters and I have seen some signs the OR has notified some of them.
Feels good but surreal at the moment. Nearly a month in.:j0
