Lloyds TSB Internet Banking Issue when trying to phone verify

Has anyone else had an issue when setting up a new payment recently?

It was working fine for years but now when I am called it just goes to voicemail, Lloyds are blaming O2 and O2 are blaming Lloyds.

Very frustrating!

Did you add the O2 'Tu Go' app by any chance?

Yes I added that app....

I did a factory reset after it for an unrelated instant and no longer have it as an app on the phone but it has been installed previously

It's a fault to do with the way the app interacts with O2 voice mail. You need to delete your profile from within the app or call O2 to unprovision it [in addition to deleting the app]

I would also suggest asking O2 to re-credit your account for the minutes used.
