accomodation

hello

I am an undergraduate student in Central London and I wonder if there is a chance I could find accomodation (minimal) with less than 200 pounds per month???

any hint?

thanks!

I'm afraid that's probably going to be pretty unlikely! Even an hour or so out of Central London, rents are still £300+. Have you investigated with your university what accommodation they offer or if they could point you in the right direction for cheaper accommodation in the city?

You could share a room, maybe. I lived in greater London when I was a student (30 minutes by train) and the cheapest in our area was £280.

Try spareroom.co.uk - you can search for rooms on there by lowest price first. We got a flatmate off of there when I was at uni, so it's a good site.

That is why many people choose not to study in the most expensive city in the country. You might try house/ dog sitting or otherwise 'working' for your accommodation such as being a companion/ household help for an older person.
