in Credit cards
I've just applied for an AQUA card and according to the online application and it states they are "pleased to offer you a credit card" and states that my pre-contractual documents and credit agreement, etc will be sent to me etc. Assuming that indeed means I've been accepted?
Anyway, I'm curious as to what my credit limit is likely to be? Having been declared bankrupt about 3 years ago (only really getting this for credit building purposes) I don't have a great credit score. Is it likely to be pretty low, i.e £200?

Probably in that region. Goes up to £1600 but tends to be at the lower end.0

More than likely it will be either £250 or at a stretch £500.
Only ways to find out is to call them or wait for the card :-)0 -

Thanks both. Don't urgently need to know, but was curious as to what the norm is. No big deal if its £200, I'll just wait until it arrives. Do they operate like Vanquis where they up the limit every 4-5 months if they are happy with how you are running your account?0 -
Not as much as Vanquis, but more than Capital one. They seem to up it every now and again, whereas Vanquis do quite a bit, and Capital one (in my experience) never do.0

Officially, you have a review after 6 months and another after 10 months. With a £250 limit, which my money is on if you were bankrupt 3 years ago, you can move up to £350 after 6 months. (Not sure about 10 months, I'll be there in June).
This is what I have been told by each of the advisors I have spoken to, although personal circumstances may mean that others have had a different experience.
Note the minimum credit limit on all their cards is £250, so you will get at least that and not £200.0
