Ex Display kitchens?

I have bought dozens, sold on a few but used most in renovations. Like you point out, one of the most expensive jobs in renovating a property is putting in a decent kitchen. When out and about it is fairly easy to spot kitchen firms that are not going to last and I also used to watch for any legal notices against firms in local papers. If you put some cash in your pocket it is fairly easy to go into a supplier and ask if any displays are for sale.Add that you can pay cash and remove the display yourself and clear it in hours. It works wonders. The added bonus is that in display kitchens they usually install the expensive units that most of us can't afford. As it is only boxes, you can generally work out how to configure it to suit your site and there are numerous ways of filling in spaces and altering units.A lot of top box doors are the same height as base unit doors so can be interchanged, the only thing to remember is the position of the handle.
Bonne Chance.

Have a look at http://www.theusedkitchencompany.com/
Alternatively, locate good kitchen studios in your neck of the wood and do a call around and let them know what you had in mind. Quite often a display may not be ticketed for sale but the owner may look favourably at a potential buyer looking for a certain type of display that they may be considering replacing.
I certainly have moved some displays on that weren't being actively marketed. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
