best place for lump sum savings

Options
I have a lump sum of approx 30k that I want to invest. I will need instant access to it at some point in the near future, and am willing to split it into various accounts if thats the best option.
I dont have any other savings or any previous years ISAs.....

Where is the best place to put my money?

Will you need access shortly into 100% of the 30K or just some of it?

A cash ISA and the best instant access acct available if you need access to it all.

ISA and Santander 123 account (if you can meet the DDR and Credit turnover conditions).

    thanks for the advice.....
I plan to open a nationwide current account and take advantage of their 4% for £2500, stick £20k in 123 account (3%), and the rest in 2 ISAs (mine and my partners name).
Does this seem the best the best use of available offers?
Who is offering the best ISA rate? The money is a house deposit, so a small notice period might be ok.

    thanks again

If you look on the cash ISA part of the savings & investment forum you will see the first 3 posts are about cash isas it is updated regularly and lets you know which gives easy access etc.
