Hi,
My accountant is baying for a 'certificate of interest' for all my acounts.
Do I actually need this, or is a statement with all the interest payments from that period showing acceptable?

Inland revenue will want certificates of interest if they query your tax return.
Saves him having to chase you later if he already has them.
