Car Insurance Cashback

Good Morning all,
I have just ran through the comparison sites for car insurance. Aviva have come out cheapest including cashback through Quidco £70.
Now, in this case I had a car insurance policy with Aviva from may 2010 - may 2011 when I switched to another provider.
I am wondering if I now go back to Aviva, will their system stop me from receiving the cashback as they see I was a customer two years ago? I never claimed cashback from my first policy with them.
I much appreciate any advice or experiences shared.
Sean

Read the terms, most do allow returning customers after a break, many even allow existing customers that lapse their existing policy and buy again as new business0

I can't see any reason why Aviva would not allow you to take a new policy with them. Insurance is normally a 12 month contract and after that it's up to you.
So if the policy lapsed in 2011 you are essentially a "new" customer and can take advantage of any offers or discounts available.0 -
I've insured my car, my wife's car and my house with Aviva for the last 3 years.
Each year, I call up and tell them I'm not renewing.
I then get quotes online and I've had the Cashback every time.
I've even told them this is why I'm not renewing and it's never been a problem.0
