Xuberance Weekend, a brand new extreme sports and music festival, will be launched at the Royal International Pavilion, Llangollen on 9/10 June 2007 and is sure to get pulses racing.
Event management company Xuberance Ltd have created the event in North Wales to demonstrate the range of extreme sports activities available in the surrounding area, described by many as "one mega playground" and rapidly gaining a reputation as the adventure capital of the UK.
Xuberance Weekend aims to build on the rise in levels of interest in extreme/adventure sports by showcasing the range of challenging activities already available in North Wales. The event also aims to build on the increased popularity of general extreme sports such as mountain biking, skateboarding and BMX. The overall aim of the weekend is to inspire and encourage more people to get a piece of the action.
Highlights will include a Freestyle Motocross Arena, a Dirt BMX comp, a Street Course Skate Park, Mini Ramp Demos and Mountain Bike displays.
To keep you entertained throughout the weekend there will be live music performances plus an activities area for demos of extreme sports and your chance to try out stuff like rock climbing and hot air ballooning.
Need more? There'll also be a retail village, open busking competitions, fairground rides, fun zones, bongo and drum workshops, DJ workshops, extreme movement drama classes, breakdancing classes, graffiti walls, merchandise stands and loads of other stuff.
