Hi I have a company van with a fuel card that allows me to fill up anywhere in the uk, I have been collecting nectar points at sainsburys and bp filling stations but where will give me the best rewards? I spend about £60 per week on diesel.

Thanks Keith

I doubt it matters, does the fuel card still require you pay?
If you can get a CC with cashback on fuel that would pay from 1-3% way above any nectar type scheme.

Nectar is the best deal i have found as points are redeemable from so many places.

Last year i was using about £120 a week fuel, so bought from BP, paid on Nectar Credit Card and used my nectar card and got 4 points per £. I also had the Nectar app on my iPhone so would make use of some of the offers that appeared on there.

Im not doing as many miles anymore, but still use the nectar cc and nectar card in BP. Log into your nectar account on their website, and then go to other nectar redeemable sites from their "redeem points" page and collect points on Amazon purchases, and Play.com purchases, and you will see other stores you buy from where Nectar is redeemable.

I bought a new camera and lens last year, over £1000, paid on nectar credit card with nectar card from amazon, 4000 points.
Bought an iPad Mini through the apple site and collected 900 Nectar points.
Buying a new Mac Mini later this year, will collect £1000 of Nectar points.

I had a american express nectar card that I have just cancelled due to them putting a £25 a year fee to have the card.

I do collect nectar but it still seems like it takes an age to get enough points to be worth a little.

I used to be spending a grand a month on fuel (on bosses card, but we could have the points) and I spent a while working out the points and at the time Texaco points worked out as the best.

The only problem is that there aren't that many texaco stations if any on the motorways, which I was mianly using so I stuck to using BP and nectar points. I used tio stick the ultimate in for extra points as well.

Nectar and Tesco clubcard offer the same 0.5% return as Shell (potentially more depending what you spend the vouchers on).

I think Morrison's Miles offer more than 0.5% but I'd need to check a recent receipt to be sure, and don't have one to hand. (There website still implies a 1% return but I'm pretty sure it's dropped from that now.)

I have a keyfuels card for my company van and tend to use Tesco (as morrisons and the other garages which accept the keyfuels card don't give points using the keyfuels card!)... I can fill up 3 times a week sometimes (about £90 a time), and on average get about £20 or so every 3 months from Tesco.
