renewing kids passports

Hi all
can anyone tell me where, how, and how much please.

£45 by post if under 16, same as a new one. Application forms at your local Post Office and then send to your nearest office.

Or you can complete the application form online, they post it to you and you just need to sign and send back the old passport and possibly a new photo if they can't be recognised from the old one.

blimey thats expensive. The worst of it is DS is nearly 15 so he will need another one next year. Makes my 1p flights not so much of a bargain.

He wont need a new one for 5 years, my son got his 1st passport at 14, in 2003 and it expires in 2008, when he will be almost 20. Link to relevant page HERE
