Hi all,
I have just applied for my first two credit cards and I have had my first rejection from lloyds
.
The second card was the barclaycard initial which has ridiculously high APR but I wont be spreading payments on it so doesn't really matter.
My application is currently "pending" and they rang me to say they are going to send me a letter asking for proof of identity (I presume this is because I have just last month registered on the ER and I'm still waiting for this to reflect on my CR).
Do you think this means I have been approved providing they believe I am me :rotfl: ?
Any information/advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Possibly, however the lack of current ER status is almost certainly the reason for your decline from LTSB.
You may be able to appeal that decision by providing proof of residence.0
