Npower medium to low usage customers are being blackmailed into staying with them until April,2014, to recover the standing charges from low use from May to September,2013. Therefore you need to leave/change tariffs soonest or stay until 2014. Ofgem were unconcerned when contacted on this matter.

In what way blackmailed? The standing charge NPower have put in place makes them uncompetitive for low and medium users in my opinion but I don't understand your comment about being blackmailed? Just leave and go elsewhere, it is what I'm doing.0
