found it. £25 for me to be a pain in his backside and get him some problems with his future credit, as it is seen as a debt that hasn't been paid.
I'll teach him to mess around with me!0 -
hi I took my sisters to a small claims court over my late mothers will, the will states that after everything was paid out the rest would go to me and my two sisters, I lost the case as the district judge gave some reason that I have not waited over a year to claim section 44 administrations act this was after telling me at the hearing she needed more info on what was spend any way I would like to know can I re issue the claim after my mother has been dead one year also my other sister has been paid out thanks0

Fairly sure you can re-issue a claim...it's your money after all.0

My old flat mate has basically disappeared without paying her half of the bills. Both our names are on everything. Can I send her to the small claim court for this?0

Hi I have had the most awful experience with a company in Scotland and I am in England. How does this effect me using the small claims court to get my money back?0

Hi, I have searched the forums and have not seen the answer anywhere...
I have submitted a small claims court claim against a man for not finishing a job he was paid for.
He has responded with a part admission and has said he will pay £50. The full claim was for £160.
If I accept his part admission, will I lose the £25 fee I paid, or will he pay that on top of the £50?
Thanks for any guidance0 -
Hi guys.
I am a secretary for a small deaf community football club.
We have one player (individual) who signed for us 3 years in a row, most recently for upcoming seasons. We are struggling financially and he owes £140 (bad debt for the past 2 years, and we have been generous to him, this has increased now to £210 since he signed the new contract. He is a compulsive gambler and plays poker a lot. He wins a lot more money but we still see no sign of money. We have exhausted every avenue in trying to get hold of him and the money we are owed. He simply ignores them. We cannot call him because we are deaf.
My question is... Are we able to go the Small Claims route, would it be worth it? We do have evidence of him signing our agreement each season. How far can it go, can bailiffs enter his property at some point (he lives with his mother so we need to be careful what he owns and what he does not own i believe from watching the Sheriffs are coming).
Secondly, if we go the small claims route, would we be reimbursed the court fees?
I hope to hear from you soon.0 -
What is this debt for and do you have proof?"If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
