Best retractable dog lead

    None of the above changes the fact that I have seen the cord leads doing harm to people and dogs, myself included with burn marks on my legs when a dog on such lead wrapped himself around me.

    So - IMO they are dangerous. I like using tape one, had one for over 6 years and never got tangled anywhere, never seen anyone else getting their tangled anywhere/around anyone/anything.

    And instead of a cycle - it may be a child running and tripping over the almost invisible lead. Can be another dog. Can be a walking person.

    You like using cord ones - that is your choice. I am not criticizing your choice - I am stating my own opinion from my own experience on those type of leads.

    I'll also sign for Flexi, my father has had one for his rather large German Sheppard since he got him as a puppy 9 years ago. The lead is still working just fine and he doesn't exactly behave like the best when walking as my father never put much effort into training the big softy.
