i have one with halifax and ulster
as part of my terms with ulster i must pay my student loan in there (i dont have one this year)
and when i rang up to get teh haliffax one the bloke on the phone says that that computer would probably decline the application because i wasnt paying in my student loan.
but he put it through anyway and it was successful. so yes, i do have two student accounts0 -
hmm... thanks jersey0

The banks can remove your overdraft with no notice. So don't let them find out you have another one.
If they are expecting a certain amount every few months to be paid into them (your loan) then transfer it to your other account and back again to satisfy them.0 -
That's what I do. Money paid into one account and then promptly transferred to the other. I have 2 and even told Halifax when I opened it that I already had an account with HSBC. I have an OD of 1250 with HSBC and 1k with Halifax (although I haven't used them that much!)0

yeah, its great as long as you dont get found out, some banks 'talk' to each other so go for accounts you know other people have, im with hsbc and natwest, i keep them both happy by payin my laon into one and my wages into another.:o0

I wish I had thought of having two accounts, I read the terms and it says no, so being a sometimes goody I didn't apply for another one, although I would spend it like wildfire if I had two I suppose.
I did get a student barclaycard with high interest as well, which I'm still arguing about because of the charges. I always here of student getting boob jobs with their student money etc, the must be living on baked beans to afford that.Wishing you a lucky 2023: 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀0 -
They'll figure it out when you go to them waving around a form trying to get your income paid tax free.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
