Has anyone had an experience with sueing a doctor?
My diagnosis was denied and I am having a prospect of living with permanent damages because of delay caused by the negligence.
Do I need to submit my complaint to PAL first or do I just contact a solicitor?
I appreciate if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Money is not the root of all evil.
It depends on how you obtain it and how you use it.
Have you sold your soul to the devil?

It would be a good first step to talk to PALS so you have full understanding of what "diagnosis was denied" means..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

Our CAB service has a special unit called 'Patient Advice and Support Service' which advises on medical queries such as negligence claims.
Perhaps this is only in Scotland, but England may have something similar.0 -
I would go straight to a solicitor, forgot the Citizen Advice. If they are like my local branch then you will not learn anything new from thier computer than you would here!
A Lawyer is legally qualified to advise you, some offer a free 1st 30 mins interview.0 -
Have look at the link to find a Laywer in you area who specialises in medical litigation.
You should have no problem finding one who will work on a no win no fee basis, providing you have a good case.
Good luck it`s a long hard haul but if you have been disadvantaged by negligence it will be worth it.
