National Express

Bit of a Vent, Warning and Praise here so bare with

Praise: every time i have travelled with National express i have been treated great by the staff, always found their service to be efficient and their coach tracker service good and their twitter page has updates with disruptions to services (when we had the snow it was very useful to see if my coach was late and whatnot)

Vent: London Victoria coach station specific really, their are a lot of lets say "foreign" passengers who don't know which coach to get, where to get it, how to get it, what to do in general, and you usually see them outside in the actual yard itself waiting (which isn't supposed to happen and the staff the minority of the time don't herd them back in)

Warning: again with Victoria coach station, be prepared to get some scruffy git asking for money and always keep an eye on your belongings, even if you have a backpack on your back, people can easily unzip it and take things (hasn't happened to me personally but seen it done)

Tip: Don't be afraid to get to the queue 15 minutes before the coach departs and wait their for them to call your coach number, because you get first pick of the seats :T

Also if you want a pint whilst you wait their is a pub between the arrivals and departures building :D

I am sure there is a vent board in other countries where "foreign" people get on their wick asking where is this where is that, what train do I get. Just remember that one day when you are in another country and need localised help

Victoria Coach Station has always been a nightmare, it's better than it was, at one stage arrivals and departures were all in the one building.

Bit unfair on National Express, they don't run the place. It is operated by Victoria Coach Station Ltd which is a part of Transport for London.

Are you saying 'foreign passengers' should be herded?

Just ensure your coach has a working toilet on board! Could be a while until the next stop at services!

I'd add the warning that this is one of the worst, most over-priced pubs in London. Probably because of it's "captive" trade of visitors to the area.
