I know it's highly unlikely, but there is always a remote possibility. It's unlikely I will die in a plane crash, but that doesn't stop me worrying about it.

The area I live in is quite dodgy and there have been quite a few sex attacks over the years. It's a red light area so attracts some strange men.

I expect if I ived in a rough area I might worry more.

It just occurred to me that all this locking doors talk is a bit academic, considering my friend came home to find some local scumbag trying to break into her house by way of headbutting the kitchen window in!
