Na power problem...again

I've just received a bill from NPower's collection department for £244. I set up a DD with NPower about 6 months ago, after having had to jump through hoops with them after they made a mess of my initial attempts to switch to DD.

I'm going to call them to resolve this, however I am less than happy.

Is there a direct complaints number? I'd also like to give them an up to date meter reading as this might bring the bill down.

I'm considering taking my business elsewhere as soon as this is resolved.

Theres a Npower rep who is on this site helping people just look at a few threads further down than your thread.
I think if you had put your subject as Npower and not Na power he would have came on and advised you.

As above why not email him and sort it out.
  • Hi rootdown,

The npower Complaint Phone Number is 0800 316 9328.
Make sure you get a Complaint Number.

    Follow the Complaints Procedure
    http://www.npower.com/home/customerservices/contact-customer-services/complaints/

I would also, as you intend, give npower your Meter Readings.
If you do this via 0800 073 3000 you can also get the
Customer Service Representative (CSR) to recalculate your DD.

Sadly, you are not the only one who has had issues with
npower's 'new system'. I recently had to get the CSR to
override the 'new system recalculated Monthly DD amount'
because it was clear to both of us that it was 28% too high:
see Post #181 of the main thread about issues with npower's 'broken system'.

As imho said: you can edit the title of your Post #1 and you may also attract the attention of the npower Forum Rep here at MSE.
