Central Heating cover
Hi,
Just had to replace my boiler. Had months of trouble with it and it finally died.
The new boiler comes with 7 years parts & labour for the boiler only, I can't seem to find anyone that will insure the rest of my system on its own. It seems daft to insure the boiler twice!
Example quote for boiler only £13.50 per month boiler and central heating system £16.50 per month. I would love to pay the £3 a month bit that isn't going to happen!!
Any advice please???
Thanks

Open a nice savings account and deposit £3 a month into that.
After 7 years, you should have £252 + interest.
It's unlikely you'll need to call anyone out for the rest of the system (it's boilers that tend to break down, not pipes & radiators, etc) but if you do need to call someone (perhaps for a new motor, but they tend to last well over 20 years) you can always use the money you've saved0
