Westgate Capital Management

I have just had an offer made for some shares in Avitech Lifesiences Inc which I believe is very suspect and therefore I am avoiding at all cost. I believe that I was conned into purchasing the shares in the first place and there are many aspects of this new offer which leads me to believe that this is just a second phase of the con. Westgate Capital Management said to be based at 14th Floor, 101 W Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48084 are offering way above the price I paid for the shares and are very convincing when you talk to them on the phone. However examination of the paperwork and website does not hold up. They even quote a US goverment regulating body which I can not get hold off therefore I doubt very much that it exists, (International Commission of Securities). I would suggest that this is not a real offer. Has anyone else had dealings with these people?

This sounds like a 'boiler room' scam, I assume you were cold-called.

A quick search on the internet should give you information about the shares / company and the current price to give you an indication of what you should pay for them.

Any UK broker should be able to buy shares from the US shares for you, there's no need to go elsewhere.

Elizabeth, you are the second new poster to mention Avitech and being offered over the odds prices for the shares. FWIW, here is my answer to the other poster ( LINK ). I suggest that you stay away from Regulation S shares from now on.
