Insurethebox car insurance

Hi,

I took out a policy with insurethebox.com in September last year and have been happy with the service provided. However I recently notice that their shoppingbox reward miles scheme has stopped working. When I asked an advisor why this has happened they stated it has not been working for a while and they don't offer reward miles any longer.

Seeing as reward miles is part of the policy and was part of the reason I bought a summary with them, is it legal of them to do this? It seems like false advertising to me.

I was with Insurethebox for two years.

I think the staff want to do a decent job, but the system lets them down. They actually think a e-mail request to the IT dept will get anything done. My Portal was not updating for six months, and it took a dozen phone calls before someone actually walked to the IT dept and asked them to fix it.

I guess the technical people who know how it all works have long departed.
