they charge you way over the odds on the 6 you have to buy during the 2 years so you dont really save anything0 -

Having been a member for a while I've never seen anything like this before!? About 6 months ago they even charged me for 2 dvd's that I never received, but when I told them this they promptly sorted a refund out to my account and claimed from RM.
The dvd's are quite highly overpriced compared to todays internet leaders like amazon, play, cdwow, blah, choices direct, et al. like the above has said. They were alot more competitive a good few years ago when I joined before internet shopping really kicked off. I wouldn't recommend anyone to join now: the service is fine, but you can just get the dvd's cheaper normally now

Do they still do the thing where they send you "their choice" every month unless you specifically tell them not to? I found that a real pain and ended up with some awful CDs!!0

Yes they do still send you the recommended choice unless you say not to, BUT you can manage your account online now and reject the recommended choice. It makes it much easier and no need send stuff off.Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0

If you receive one of these you do know you can just send it back free of charge for a refund don't you?0 -
admittedly the £90 incident was about 7 years ago, before i was more worldly wise.0

Im puzzled as to how you can make a profit out of britania as like others have said, the dvd`s are more expensive than if you bought them from play/amazon or any of the other online places.
Even if they were the same price as the online retailers, how could you sell them for more? As the selling price on ebay for example is usually a fraction of the normal new price. You`d have to get the dvd`s for next to nothing in order to make a profit on ebay.0 -

I think the OP was referring to the sign-up offer where you get x amount of dvd's for 99p (or something like that)0
