Claim DLA online? Or old school?

1.5 weeks ago I requested a DLA claim application for my mum in law. It still hasn't come. I was wondering if their online system is up to the task? Or will it cause more trouble than it is worth going that route? Anyone have any experience?

If you requested the forms 1.5 weeks ago the claim would begin from that date (I think I am right) and so I would phone them and say that you have not yet received them. If you go online your claim would be from that date I would have thought.
I have no experience with the online form, but the only thing I would look at is whether would you be able to make a copy of the online form - when I have filled the forms in I keep a copy for future reference.0 -
I have done both but prefer the "old system" - so that I can check more carefully, and add sheets etc.,
However, the DWP are very keen to transfer claims to the phone or online.
I would give them a ring and check that they've sent it - they send them second class post and it can take ages with the postal system as it is.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
