Moving House - New Supplier?

Hi everyone,

I recently moves flats, it is all Electric. I had no bills in my name at my old place (shared house) so I have never done this before.

I got a letter from Ovo energy saying they are the current supplier and I must contact them or my supply will be affected.

Am I able to chose my own supplier at this point (e.g. switch to a new one) or do I need to set up an account with Ovo before I can do anything e.g. switch?

Are Ovo energy any good?

You need to contact the current supplier.

Once you have done that and set up an account, you can switch supplier if you wish.
Switching typically takes 4-6 weeks from application

Take care not to agree to a tariff with an early exit fee if you plan to switch supplier.
