Debenhams when yes means no

I placed an order online and tried to input a promotion discount code which would not activate . I e-mailed their customer services and was refered to the T&C which I had read.
Not all brands are taking part in the offer and a link takes you to a page showing the various brands. The brand I wanted shows under concessions "Available on line Yes"
So I e-mailed them again only to get this reply
I am sorry to learn that the promotional code was not applied for the order 795xxxxxx.
The list you have viewed on our terms and conditions is our list of exclusions so if there is a yes in the column this means that concession is excluded, please accept my sincere apologies for any confusion caused.
Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me again.

There is no indication on the list as to what yes or no means but to my simply mind yes would seem to indicate a discount was available.
Incidentally the same brand on the concessions page shows Available in store" No , so following their logic I wonder if this means Yes!!:eek:
