Delivery fee issue from Get Laid Beds

Hi

I ordered a bedframe online from get laid beds. On their site, you can select the day of delivery, and I chose a friday.

I took the day off of work, waited at home for the delivery as it was expected in that slot from 8am-6pm, but it never turned up.

The next day when I was out, a delivery note stating "Sorry we missed you" was left by TNT. Days and days after this kept happening, because they kept attempting delivery during office working hours, and obviously I was not home.

So I asked them to leave it with a neighbour, but again this failed to happen.

The bed was then returned back to get laid beds, and now they are saying we can resend it, but for an extra £25, im asking for a refund of the bed, and delivery charge, because I took the day off and it wasnt delivered in the agreed time slot.

Where do I stand?

Am I entitled to a refund including the delivery charge, of course I feel aggrieved because I wasted a day from my holiday allowance waiting at home for bed, which never arrived.

[UPDATE] A friend of mine said, as long as I have an email stating the specified delivery time/date, I can ask for a full refund, including the original delivery charge, else I will ask my bank to initiate a chargeback for the costs, does anyone know if this is true?

Please help.

Thanks
