Desperately need help with my menu planning

Going blank happens to me even with a plan and food to go with it, usually its because I either don't fancy eating whatever was planned, I can't be bothered cooking ehat is planned or we are doing something that eve.
In those circumstances the freezer is your friend, I always have oven chips and fish fingers in there just in case, in fact I was quite upset when after a bad day with beast baby I announced it was fish fingers and chips and everyone cheered!
Doesn't say much for my cooking from scratch!
I am repeating what I have said before on Old style but...
I actually find a ten day ish plan more useful. I know some days which are inflexible....(I.e. if making something from left overs we have to eat the meal producing left overs first, or meals with guests or meals for my health) but others can be pulled from store cupboard or freezer, allow some flexibility for unexpected invitations or impulsive decisions to eat out.
It's worth remembering to plan the freezer meals into the meal plan every few weeks so that they don't linger in a freezer grave..0
