Tobacco Charleroi ?

Im thinking of flying over to Belgium Charleroi airport to take advantage of ryanair special at moment.I have a couple of questions as I usually stock up on tobacco every six months or so in Adenkirk. But the flight would work out much cheaper, does anyone know if the town is nearby where I could buy some from and is there anything to do there for the few hours I would have to wait for the return flight ?

Thanks In Advance

Hello again Ipswich, havent you just been over ? Anyway HERE is a link to Charleroi Airport, there is an English version, press the EN button. Seems to be about 20 miles from Brussels, 1 hour on the coach and 20 Euros return. Not too sure if there is a town nearer than Brussels. Maybe Spain would be a better option as prices are a bit cheaper there and plane fares not much more. DAYTRIPPER site will give you more info.

Hi yes I was intending to go this Wed but my mum who had a hip replacement decided to throw herself down the stairs ..so never actually made the journey as spent all Tues night Wed morning at A & E.So I have asked her to stump up the 2p for my trip to Belgium via Ryanair...That will make her think twice next time won't it.

Have a look at this link - there's a map and phone numbers and addresses of tobacconists in Charleroi

Sorry to hear about Mum, hope she is ok. I'm off over tomorrow, hopefully, the "freewine" on P&O still works, £22 now though so a bit more than your 2p !! Also not as flash as flying over. let us know how you get on.
