Paid in February - still not collected!

I sold an item on ebay that was paid for by paypal in Feb and it's still not been collected. The winning bidder says they bought it on behalf of a friend who's not on ebay, that 'friend' has been unwell so wasn't able to collect. Communication has been good with the person who paid. The reason for listing it in the first place was because it's a big thing and I need it out of the way.
If I relist I might not get the same price for it but there doesn't seem to be any inclination on their part to collect their item.

After 45 days they won't be able to file a claim with paypal, so why don't you just relist and if there is any interest in the item, refund the original buyer.
