Scrap recommending Fructis Repair & Shine, they have changed the formula, taken out the palm oil and added in amodimothicone. My hair has been funny for a couple of weeks, now I know why.

Not used that stuff for years. Always made my hair feel sticky.

It didn't for me as long as I didn't go too nuts, but bear in mind I am curly. So looking for slip when wet, softness, bounce and lack of frizz not the ability to run my fingers through it dry (never gonna happen unless I want a white girl 'fro! :p).

But have to find a new love now. Just spent £100 on hair products, tho I did at least order enough to last a year.

  • Timotei do paraben-free range now called 'timotei pure' or something like that. You can get it in the supermarket - sainsburys are doing 2 for £4 this week. :-)

I buy online from Base Formula, who also do a good conditioner & basic moisturiser. You have to get used to using only a little, as it doesn't "foam"

Thanks so much for all the suggestions and advice.
I decided to try Naked shampoo and conditioner.
Scalp is so much better, I can t believe it, the only thing I was not fussy on was the conditioner, it left my hair very very soft and I couldnt do a thing with it until it went a bit greasy!
Would I be right in thinking that I can use normal conditioner as they dont containe sls? Or do they?
