Bathroom almost complete

Hi everyone, I am happy to say the bathroom is nearing completion. My new dilemma is that I read somewhere that before you use the bathroom it is a good idea to use car wax as a barrier on the new tiles. This is going to be a big job, but will it be worth doing and does anyone know if it works.

Thanks for all your kind responses to my previous dilemmas.

I must admit this is a new one on me.

My father in law fits bathrooms and kitchens and i have never seen this done.

I can see the thinking behind it as tiles and grout are not waterproof despite what anyone says, however when you clean the tiles you would presumably have to reapply.

If you have the time to do it crack on but i personally wouldnt bother.
