Can anyone shed any light on my fire fox problems please?
Over the past 2 days firefox keeps locking up and closing on me. I have also lost the ability to view videos on the browser, I keep getting the blue q sign (quicktime?) on my screen where there should be video.
I haven't changed any of my settings and it was all ok a few days ago. I have run a few virus and spyware scans but they are all coming up clean.
Any advice please appreciated, in very simple terms

The latest release of Firefox is very poor, it has got a little big for its boots and uses a great deal of system resources the longer it is up.
If you want to carry on using it shut it down every hour or so and restart it.
I've pretty much given up with it and gone to Opera.0 -
Run https://www.ccleaner.com, selecting Firefox on Applications tab.
If no joy, close Firefox and click Start - Run - type firefox -p - OK. Create a profile and start Firefox with that profile. If it works it indicates that your old profile was corrupt - you can transfer settings from it.0 -
I'm still having the same problems as you can see from the screenshot.......
I chose a random page on youtube just to demonstrate, it's like this on a lot of sites
