Restoring Tab 10.1 to Factory Settings.

I've sold my Galaxy Tab 10.1 which is running on Android 4.0.4.

Will it still retain the Android 4.0.4 operating system if I restore the Tab back to factory settings prior to sending it to its new owner?

It retains whatever the last firmware was installed updated . So yes if you never updated to 4.1 it should reset to 4.04. jje

    Thanks.

I did update it from Gingerbread which was on it originally to Ice Cream Sandwich last year but the Tab 10.1 isn't getting Jelly Bean.

So when I restore it back to Factory settings it will retain ICS and not go all the back to Gingerbread?

Correct ICS is held in restore memory .

My tab had a JB update in December it was either OTA or via Kies from Samsung not a flashed firmware .
