Hi,I purchased an Item through e-bay last September, paying by credit card through pay pal.The item was not the item that had been described and shown.I notified supplier and they said if I returned the Item they would refund my money. I had a tracking number which I gave them and I tracked it myself and they received the returned Item on 11th October. Several e-mails went back and forth without success.I also tried the phone number that I had for them but it was no longer in use. I contacted e-bay and they advised me to try again and also to contact pay pal.By the time I did this my time for doing this had run out.I then contacted my credit card company who asked for relevant information of the transaction.I copied all e-mail ect that I had sent and received from the supplier only to be told that I didn't have a case as it was outside their remit, and to try phoning the supplier myself again.I am at present out of pocket for the sum of £100 pounds (99.95)Please can someone advise me.

To be honest, there is not much you can do so long after the event. Why did you wait? It usually takes a week to receive an item, realise it is wrong and send it back then maybe another week to chase for payment. You don't seem to have put much priority in chasing up your cash.0

I too don't understand why you're asking this question 6 months later. Why didn't you open a case at the time?0

You lost £100 is the short answer and won't see it again.0

If you have waited 7 months to bother sorting this out, I guess you didn't want that £100 much...
I don't think there's much you can do now, sort of sending a "letter before action" to the seller, giving them 14 days to refund the £100, otherwise you will take them to court for it.
(I presume you still have proof that the returned item was delivered to them?)Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
