How webpages display (colours etc)

Is there a simply 'tweak' available in browsers to make the font colour or shading chosen by the [STRIKE]banks[/STRIKE] webpage designer that will display in a colour or shading that is more visible to the individual user? I know that resizing is standard but what about other display characteristics?

If you go to Control Panel, under "Ease of Access" (in Win 7, may be slightly different in older versions) there are various options to change the way items are displayed.0

You could always try highlighting the web page. Sometimes it improves the colour contrast!0
